Zusammenfassung: | To provide a stock layout optimization system and a stock layout optimization method capable of minimizing the frequency of replenishment of commodities to a picking area in a physical distribution warehouse, thereby improving efficiency of the operation.SOLUTION: A stock layout optimization system 100 includes: a storage unit 101 which stores information on various constraint conditions pertaining to a picking area in a physical distribution warehouse; and a computing unit 104 which calculates values of decision variables that maximizes the number of commodities to be stored by a mathematical optimization solver under the above constraint conditions, using the number of commodities stored in a storage shelf in the picking area as an objective function, and layout position of the storage shelf where a group of commodities is stored, and the layout position in the storage shelf, the number of stacks of commodities constituting the group, and the numbers of commodities arranged in lateral direction and depth direction as the decision variables.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
