PACKAGING MACHINE

To prevent an overflowing liquid from flowing into a lifting cylinder even if the liquid overflows from an opening of a packaging bag.SOLUTION: A packaging machine 10 includes a lower block 31 provided on a chamber base 21 in a vertically movable manner and on which the opening periphery portion of the packaging bag can be placed, an upper block 32 provided below a chamber cover 22 and above the lower block 31, a heater 33 provided on the lower block 31 and welding the opening periphery portion of the packaging bag, and a lifting mechanism 34 that lifts and lowers the lower block 31. The lifting mechanism 34 includes a support shaft 35 for supporting the lower block 31 in a vertically movable manner, and a lifting cylinder 36 having an insertion hole 38e for causing the support shaft 35 to protrude upward and moving vertically the support shaft 35.
