To provide a rice cooker that has improved cleanability.SOLUTION: A rice cooker of the present invention includes: a pot for storing a material to be cooked including water and rice; a pot heating part for heating the pot; a lid body for covering an upper opening of the pot so as to open or close it freely; a storage part disposed above the pot for taking in fluid including rice gruel generated from the pot when the pot is heated by the pot heating part; an electrostatic capacity detection part for detecting electrostatic capacity of the fluid; and a control part for controlling a heating amount of the pot heating part.
