Zusammenfassung: | To provide a vertical shaft pump can shorten recovery handling time, facilitate maintenance, and reduce its load and material cost.SOLUTION: A pullout type vertical shaft pump comprises: a discharge elbow 16 of which one end communicates with an outer casing 11, and of which the other end communicates with a discharge pipe 31; an inner casing 12 housing a main shaft 13; an intermediate bearing 20 provided between the main shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the inner casing, inside the inner casing; and ribs 172 and 173 of which one end part is connected to an outer peripheral surface of the inner casing at a position opposed to the intermediate bearing across the inner casing, and of which the other end part is connected to an inner peripheral surface of the discharge elbow.
