To provide a mobile device, a controller for the mobile device, a control method for the mobile device, a mobile system, and a mobile work robot that allow a user of the mobile device to easily and quickly set a travel route.SOLUTION: A mobile device includes an imaging unit 10 that captures color images and a traveling unit that moves a device main body. A control unit 20 of the mobile device includes: a marker information storage unit 21 that stores information regarding colors of markers and information regarding placement of the markers; a travel route determination unit 22 that determines a travel route of the mobile device based on the information regarding the placement of the markers; an image processing unit 24 that detects the markers from the color image captured by the imaging unit 10 based on the information regarding the colors of the markers; and a drive information calculation unit 27 that calculates control conditions for driving the traveling unit based on the markers detected by the image processing unit 24.
