CAMERA AND STEP-OUT DETECTION METHOD FOR CAMERA

To detect the step-out of a motor by using an existing gyro sensor.SOLUTION: A camera includes an imaging part, an acquisition part which acquires a rotation angle command for specifying the rotation angle of the imaging part, a tilt motor which tilt-rotates the imaging part on the basis of the rotation angle command, a pan motor which pan-rotates the imaging part on the basis of the rotation angle command, a sensor in which a sensor coordinate system having a first coordinate axis substantially parallel to one of the tilt rotation axis of the tilt motor and the pan rotation axis of the pan motor is set to detect the rotation angle of the imaging part, and a detection part which detects the presence or absence of the step-out of the tilt motor or the pan motor on the basis of the rotation angle detected by the sensor and the rotation angle commanded by the rotation angle command.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】既設のジャイロセンサを用いてモータの脱調を検出する。【解決手段】カメラは、撮像部と、撮像部の回転角度を指定する回転角度指令を取得する取得部と、回転角度指令に基づいて、撮像部をチルト回転させるチルトモータと、回転角度指令に基づいて、撮像部をパン回転させるパンモータと、チルトモータのチルト回転軸あるいはパンモータのパン回転軸のいずれか一方と略平行である第１座標軸を有するセンサ座標系が設定され、撮像部の回転角度を検出するセンサと、センサにより検出された回転角度と、回転角度指令により指令された回転角度とに基づいて、チルトモータあるいはパンモータの脱調の有無を検出する検出部と、を備える。【選択図】図２
