Zusammenfassung: | To quantitatively evaluate an entire rock mass.SOLUTION: A rock mass evaluation method comprises the steps of: dividing an image P of a range of a rock mass being an evaluation object into a crack image showing a portion where a crack is generated and a non-crack image showing a portion where the crack is not generated; dividing the image P into a plurality of regions R; calculating a spacing of the cracks generated in the regions R for each region R; sorting the respective regions R to a corresponding grade in the plurality of grades according to the calculated spacing; obtaining a crack spacing trend curve indicating a trend of the cracks generated in the entire rock mass on the basis of the number of regions R sorted to each grade; and obtaining a representative crack spacing I that represents the spacing of the cracks generated in the entire rock mass from the crack spacing trend curve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
