SURGERY SHEET

To provide a surgery sheet, especially, a surgery sheet which can be preferably used as a covering fabric for a human body (patient) during a surgical operation, and which also can be preferably used as a cover of a surgical bed on which a patient lies, and can be preferably used as a covering fabric and an underlay for preventing pollution of medical instruments during the surgical operation.SOLUTION: There is provided a surgery sheet comprising a fiber layer. An applicant has found a relationship between various components in the fiber layer, and ability for preventing dripping of liquid to a floor surface and being exhibited by a surgery sheet comprising the fiber layer. As the result, the surgery sheet having the fiber layer whose fiber surface area (unit:m2) per a unit thickness (unit:mm) is greater than 5 m2 and less than 35 m2 hardly causes dripping of liquid, such as body fluid and blood of a human body and chemical liquid used for the surgical operation absorbed to the surgery sheet to a floor surface.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本願発明は、手術用シートに関する。特には、手術時に人体（患者）の覆布として好適に使用できる他、患者が横たわる手術台のカバーとして、また、手術時の医療機器の汚染を防ぐための覆布や下敷きとしても好適に使用できる、手術用シートに関する。【解決手段】繊維層を備えた手術用シートについて、本願出願人は繊維層における各種構成と繊維層を備えた手術用シートが発揮する液体が床面へ滴り落ちるのを防止する能力との関係を探った。その結果、単位厚み（単位：ｍｍ）あたりの繊維表面積（単位：ｍ２）が５ｍ２より大きく３５ｍ２未満である繊維層を備えた手術用シートは、手術用シートに吸収された人体の血液や体液等および手術に使用する薬液等の液体が、床面へ滴り落ち難いことを見出した。【選択図】 なし
