To more appropriately cool a lamp.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet irradiation apparatus 10 comprises an irradiation unit 20, and an air cooling unit 40. The irradiation unit 20 has first lamps 21A to fourth lamps 21D emitting ultraviolet light. The air cooling unit 40 has main piping 41, first branched piping 42A, second branched piping 42B, a first air volume regulation mechanism 52A, and a second air volume regulation mechanism 52B. The first branched piping 42A is branched from the main piping 41. The second branched piping 42B is branched from the main piping 41. The first air volume regulation mechanism 52A is mounted to the first branched piping 42A. The second air volume regulation mechanism 52B is mounted to the second branched piping 42B.
