To prevent miscalculation of the number of passengers by accurately detecting a user riding in a car without being affected by an image on an installation object such as a mirror or a poster in the car.SOLUTION: An elevator system according to one embodiment includes imaging means, person detection means, tracking means, and detection processing means. The imaging means images a range including a landing in the vicinity of an entrance from inside a car. The person detection means detects a person from an image obtained by the imaging means. The tracking means tracks the person detected by the person detection means.
