Zusammenfassung:To provide a manufacturing method of a stainless steel plate for a fuel cell separator that can manufacture a stainless steel plate for a fuel cell separator with low contact resistance, which is extremely advantageous not only in terms of safety but also in terms of mass productivity.SOLUTION: A first surface treatment and a second surface treatment are to be applied to a material stainless steel plate, and in the first surface treatment, 0.1 to 5.0 mass% of hydrogen peroxide, 1.0 to 10.0 mass% of copper ions, and 5.0 to 20.0 mass% of halide ions, an acidic aqueous solution with a pH of 1.0 or less are used as a treatment liquid, and, the processing temperature is 30 to 50°C and the processing time is 40 to 120 seconds, and in the second surface treatment, an aqueous solution containing nitric acid is used as a treatment liquid, and the treatment temperature is 30 to 60°C and the treatment time is 5 to 120 seconds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】低い接触抵抗の燃料電池のセパレータ用のステンレス鋼板を、安全性はもとより、量産性の面でも極めて有利に製造することができる、燃料電池のセパレータ用のステンレス鋼板の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】素材ステンレス鋼板に第1の表面処理および第2の表面処理を施すものとし、第1の表面処理では、処理液に、過酸化水素:0.1~5.0質量%、銅イオン:1.0~10.0質量%およびハロゲン化物イオン:5.0~20.0質量%を含み、pH:1.0以下である酸性水溶液を使用し、かつ、処理温度:30~50℃および処理時間:40~120秒とし、第2の表面処理では、処理液に、硝酸を含む水溶液を使用し、かつ、処理温度:30~60℃および処理時間:5~120秒とする。【選択図】図1
