To provide an inspection system in which wiring can be simplified.SOLUTION: An inspection system 1 comprises: an illuminator 2 which illuminates an article M being an inspection object by emitting light from a plurality of light-emitting elements 20; an illumination controller 3 which causes light to be emitted by sequentially supplying the current in each illumination period by dividing the plurality of light-emitting elements 20 into N areas; a camera 4 which sequentially images the article M in an imaging period synchronized with the illumination period; an inspection system control device 5; a first distribution cable 6 which supplies DC power to the illumination controller 3 from the camera 4; and a second distribution cable 7 which supplies DC power to the camera from the inspection system control device 5.
