Zusammenfassung:To provide a reinforcement unit for a hollow columnar object in a new structure and a reinforcement method for the hollow columnar object with the reinforcement unit.SOLUTION: A reinforcement unit 1 for reinforcing a hollow columnar object from the inside of the hollow columnar object, comprises: a reinforcement member 20 in a cylindrical shape arranged inside of the hollow columnar object; a plurality of bag members 40 arranged in an inside space of the reinforcement member; a partition member 30 separating the inside space of the reinforcement member into a plurality of individual spaces where each of the plurality of bag members is arranged. The partition member extends in an axial direction of the reinforcement member. The reinforcement member is allowed to be deformed so as to closely contact an inner wall of the hollow columnar object by expansion of each of the plurality of bag members.
