To provide an electric connector capable of effectively suppressing cross talk between a plurality of contacts, and an electronic device including the electric connector.SOLUTION: An electric connector 1 includes: a first contact group 21U arrayed on a first contact plane; a second contact group 21L arrayed on a second contact plane; and a ground plate 22 positioned on the ground plane. The ground plate 22 includes: a first ground plate piece 221; and a second ground plate piece 222 which is disposed so as not to be in contact with the first ground plate piece 221 and to be separate from the first ground plate piece 221.
