Zusammenfassung:To provide a manufacturing method for a composite material containing fibrous cellulose and resin, in which drying can be appropriately controlled in heating and drying using a heated cylindrical dryer, and in which an exfoliation property and strength are excellent and coloration is suppressed.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a composite material including fibrous cellulose and a resin, comprises a step of heating and drying a dispersion liquid of a mixture of the fibrous cellulose and the resin in an aqueous medium in a heated cylindrical dryer to obtain the composite material. In the step of obtaining the composite material, A expressed in formula (A) is heated and dried to fall into a range between 0.20 and 9.00, inclusive.
