To provide a mounting-type electric device cover and a mounting-type electric device in which a liquid having intruded into the inside can be drained while degradation of a gas proofing effect and a dust proofing effect is suppressed.SOLUTION: A mounting-type electric device cover 30 houses a mounting fitting 50 for mounting an electric device 20 to be mounted via a first through hole 11 formed in a building material, and is placed so as to close the first through hole 11. In addition, in the mounting-type electric device cover 30, a second through hole 35 is formed in at least either a bottom wall 31 facing a cover opening portion 30a or a side wall 32 standing from the bottom wall 31 toward the cover opening portion 30a and constituting the cover opening portion 30a.
