Zusammenfassung:	To provide a control device and a control method capable of highly accurately switching input means while reducing cost.SOLUTION: This control device comprises a control unit. The control unit sets one of a plurality of input means including first input means and second input means to an effective mode which enables control of a vehicle in accordance with an input operation from a user. The control unit switches the effective mode from the first input means to the second input means when a prescribed value or higher is input into the second input means in a state where the first input means is in the effective mode, then the input becomes lower than the prescribed value, and then a re-input is made to the second input means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B 【課題】コストを抑えつつ、入力手段の切替を高精度に行うことができる制御装置および制御方法を提供すること。【解決手段】実施形態に係る制御装置は、制御部を備える。制御部は、第１入力手段と第２入力手段を含む複数の入力手段のうちの１つを、ユーザからの入力操作に応じて車両制御可能な有効モードに設定する。制御部は、第１入力手段が有効モードとなっている状態で、第２入力手段に対して所定値以上の入力があった後、当該入力が所定値未満となり、その後に、第２入力手段に対して再入力があった場合に、有効モードを第１入力手段から第２入力手段に切り替える。【選択図】図１Ｂ
