To provide a vacuum cleaner achieving sliding and light operability of a suction head.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises a suction head for raking out dust on a cleaning object surface and collecting the dust in a suction part. The suction head includes a pair of rotary shafts rotating in mutually opposite directions, rotary brushes attached to the rotary shafts, two hover brushes to be attached to the rotary shafts, and two casters each including a rotational part for rotationally turning around a rotational shaft in accordance with movement of the suction head.
