To perform appropriate life management for consumable items having a plurality of types.SOLUTION: A developing cartridge comprises a developing roller and a developing memory. The developing memory has a first development storage area for storing development identification information for identifying a specific type from a plurality of types of developing cartridges, and a second development storage area for storing at least one of development accumulated number of prints printed by using the developing cartridges, accumulated number of rotations of the developing rollers, and accumulated dot counts.
