To provide a projection device for a vehicle having a function of preventing the projection device from being brought into contact with an openable/closable door.SOLUTION: A projection device for a vehicle includes a sensor 110 for detecting the insertion of a foot or the like, a door opening/closing mechanism 120 for opening/closing a door of the vehicle, a control unit 130, a projection unit 140 for projecting an image, and a driving unit 150 for driving an actuator of the projection unit 140 by a driving signal DV2.
