METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CERAMIC TAPE

To provide a method of manufacturing a ceramic tape and a ceramic tape that may be efficiently manufactured while also having good mechanical properties by having few surface defects, etc.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing line, a green tape is included and oriented so as to pass through a furnace. The furnace burns off organic binders and partially sinters the tape without using a setter board. A sintered article produced in the manufacturing line may have a thin and relatively large area that has few surface defects caused during sintering when the tape is unpolished. The partially sintered tape may be tensioned when the partially sintered tape passes through a second furnace so that the resulting sintered article is formed. The furnace is preferably oriented vertically and preferably operated continuously.
