Zusammenfassung:To provide a welding gun which can efficiently cool heat generated in the time of welding even with a shank in which a distance between an electrode tip and a tip portion of a shank holder becomes long and a resistance welding device having the welding gun.SOLUTION: A third portion 71a on the tip side relative to a spot where a waterproof seal 80 is arranged in portions stored in a shank 15 of a shank holder 71 is formed in a small diameter so as to be apart from an inner wall of a recess 15c of the shank 15, a cylindrical first space 81 is formed between the third portion 71a and the inner wall of the recess 15c of the shank 15, and the first space 81 is made to communicate to a tip portion of a first channel 73 through four communication paths 71g, 71h, 71i, 71j.
