Zusammenfassung:To provide a wall-mounted heater which is excellent in energy saving, and can exactly prevent the damage of a building by preventing a state that a fan is not driven though the heater is in a high-temperature state.SOLUTION: In a wall-mounted heater 1 having a fan 6 arranged in a machine, a lower heater 3 and an upper heater 4, in-machine temperature detection means 27 for detecting an in-machine temperature, in-room existence determination means 29 for determining whether or not a person exists in a room, and a control unit 24 for controlling an automatic heating operation for performing heating by using radiation heaters 3, 4 when it is determined that the person exists in the room by the in-room existence determination means 29, the control unit 24 drives the fan 6 when it is determined that the inside of the room is in a high-temperature state at the automatic heating operation, and when the non-existence of the person is determined by the in-room existence means 29, the control unit 24 finishes the automatic heating operation, and performs a forcible cooling operation for driving the fan 6 irrespective of an operation state of the fan 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】省エネルギー性に優れ、ヒータが高温の状態であるにも関わらずファンが駆動していない状態を防止することで家屋の損傷を確実に防止することができる壁掛式の暖房機を提供する。【解決手段】機内に設けられたファン6と、下部ヒータ3及び上部ヒータ4と、機内の温度を検出する機内温度検出手段27と、室内に人がいるか否かを判定する在室判定手段29と、在室判定手段29で室内に人がいると判定されている場合、輻射用ヒータ3,4による暖房を行う自動暖房運転を制御する制御部24とを備えた壁掛式暖房機1に於いて、制御部24は、自動暖房運転時、機内が高温状態と判定した場合、ファン6を駆動させ、制御部24は、在室判定手段29で人がいないと判定された場合、自動暖房運転を終了させ、ファン6の動作状態に関わらず、ファン6を駆動させる強制冷却運転を行うようにした。【選択図】図1
