To provide a method of assembling a container and a container that enables a greater number of containers to be loaded onto a vehicle that delivers containers.SOLUTION: The method of assembling a container into an almost sealed rectangular shape includes: a column attaching step where, the four columns are attached by inserting convex portions 12 at the four corners of a rectangular lower frame section 10 in a rectangular shape viewed from the top into four columns 20; and a panel attaching step, where two of the four columns as a pair are attached by inserting the columns of each pair into the inserts of a panel section 30; a ceiling frame attaching step, where the four columns are attached by inserting the convex portions at the four corners of a rectangular ceiling frame section 40 into the four columns; a door attaching step, where door sections 60 and 70 are attached to the surfaces to which the panel sections are not attached; and a delivering step, where each member is stacked, packaged, and loaded onto a vehicle for delivery to the location where the column attaching step is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】コンテナを搭載して納品する車両に、より多くの台数のコンテナを搭載することができるコンテナの組立方法及びコンテナを提供する。【解決手段】４本の柱部２０へ上面視略矩形状の下部フレーム部１０の四方の角部に有する凸部１２を差し込んで取り付ける柱部取付ステップと、４本の柱部のうちの２本を１組とし、それぞれの組の柱部をパネル部３０の差込部に差込んで取り付けるパネル部取付ステップと、４本の柱部へ略矩形状の天井フレーム部４０の四方の角部に有する凸部を差し込んで取り付ける天井フレーム部取付ステップと、パネル部が取り付けられていない面に対して扉部６０、７０を取り付ける扉部取付ステップとを行うことにより、略密閉した直方体形状に組み立てるコンテナ１において、柱部取付ステップを行う場所へと、各部材を積み重ねて梱包し、車両に搭載して配送する配送ステップを含むものである。【選択図】図１
