Zusammenfassung:To provide a device capable of determining or identifying cylinders having misfires when at least two cylinders have the misfires in an engine having a plurality of cylinders.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle engine misfire determination device comprises: plural misfire detection means (Step S2) which detects misfires in a plurality of cylinders of an engine; and misfire cylinder determination means (Steps S7-1 to S7-6) which determines the cylinders having the misfires. The misfire cylinder determination means is adapted to: sequentially switch the cylinder for which fuel supply is terminated; perform torque assist using a motor in accordance with termination of fuel supply; compare a rotation speed fluctuation pattern of the engine obtained through engine operation with the termination of the fuel supply and the torque assist with the motor with a rotation speed fluctuation pattern of the engine when a plurality of cylinders has misfires; and determine the cylinders having the misfires on the basis of a comparison result and the cylinders for which the fuel supply was terminated when the comparison result was obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】複数気筒のエンジンで少なくとも二つの気筒で失火が生じる場合に、それら失火の生じる気筒を判別もしくは特定することの可能な装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジンにおける複数の気筒での失火を検出する複数失火検出手段(ステップS2)と、失火の生じている気筒を判定する失火気筒判定手段(ステップS7-1~S7-6)とを備え、失火気筒判定手段は、燃料の供給を停止する気筒を順に切り替え、燃料の供給の停止に応じてモータによるトルクアシストを行い、燃料の供給停止およびモータによるトルクアシストを行ってエンジンを運転することにより得られるエンジンの回転数変動パターンと複数の気筒での失火が生じた場合のエンジンの回転数変動パターンとを比較し、その比較の結果およびその比較の結果を得た際に燃料の供給を停止した気筒に基づいて失火の生じている気筒を判定するように構成されている。【選択図】図3
