ELECTRICITY METER COVER AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING ELECTRIC WORK

To provide an electricity meter cover and a method for performing an electric work which can prevent water from attaching on the charge part of an electricity meter when an operation is being done on an electricity meter.SOLUTION: An electricity meter cover of the present invention includes a cover part 2 covering the upper part of a measuring instrument of the electricity meter having a measurement instrument body 71. The cover part is set in the electricity meter and can switch a set state in which the cover part covers the upper part of the measurement instrument and a containing state in which the cover part is removed from the electricity meter.
