Zusammenfassung:To provide a thermal recording body which can suppress color development caused by heating after radiation of ultraviolet light even when an amount of ultraviolet light to be radiated is small.SOLUTION: There is provided a thermal recording body comprising a heat sensitive coloring layer containing: particles with a core-shell structure comprising a shell part and a core part, the core part including a polyfunctional radical polymerizable compound, a mono-functional radical polymerizable compound, and a photo-radical polymerization initiator; an electron donative dye precursor; and an electron acceptor compound. The core part further includes any one of the electron donative dye precursor and the electron acceptor compound. The radical functional group density of the mono functional radical polymerizable compound is 5.0 mmol/g or greater and 9.5 mmol/g or smaller, and the polarity term δP of the Hansen solubility parameter (HSP value) is 4.5 MPa1/2 or greater and 12.0 MPa1/2 or smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 照射する紫外線の光量が低い場合であっても、紫外線照射後の加熱による発色を抑制することが可能な感熱記録体を提供すること。【解決手段】 コア部及びシェル部を有し、前記コア部が多官能ラジカル重合性化合物、単官能ラジカル重合性化合物、及び光ラジカル重合開始剤を含むコアシェル構造の粒子、電子供与性染料前駆体、並びに電子受容性化合物を含有する感熱発色層を備えた感熱記録体であって、前記コア部は、前記電子供与性染料前駆体及び前記電子受容性化合物のうちのいずれか一方をさらに含み、前記単官能ラジカル重合性化合物のラジカル官能基密度が5.0mmol/g以上9.5mmol/g以下であり、ハンセン溶解度パラメーター(HSP値)の極性項δPが4.5MPa1/2以上12.0MPa1/2以下であることを特徴とする感熱記録体。【選択図】 図1
