To provide a vehicle control device capable of, even when there occurs an abnormality which does not allow continuation of automatic drive or driving support to be performed only by an own vehicle, continuing the automatic drive or driving support by the vehicle.SOLUTION: A control device 11 (vehicle control device) controls the drive of an actuator system 300 (on-vehicle actuator) of a vehicle 2 by using input from a sensor group 110A (auxiliary sensor) of an auxiliary vehicle 3 when an abnormality of a sensor group 110 (on-vehicle sensor) of the vehicle 2 is detected.
