Zusammenfassung: | To prevent interference of a cap member to a carriage even if a position in the ascending/descending direction of the cap member relative to a nozzle surface is unclear.SOLUTION: An image formation device (10) comprises: a recording head (14) capable of discharging liquid drops from a nozzle (15); a cap member (41) that goes up and down to be able to seal a nozzle face (16) of the nozzle (15); a cam shaft (71); a first cam (73) provided on the cam shaft (71); and a motor (80) that drives the cam shaft (71). The cam shaft (71) is rotatable in a first rotation angle range (θ1) from a reference point (P0) to a first direction (CW) and to a second direction (CCW) that is opposite to the first direction (CW), the reference point (P0) being the position of the cam shaft in a rotational direction when the cap member (41) is in the lowermost position (Hcl). The first cam (73) raises the cap member (41) through rotation of the cam shaft (71) from the reference point (P0) within the first rotation angle range (θ1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】ノズル面に対してキャップ部材の昇降方向の位置が不明でも、キャリッジに対するキャップ部材の干渉を防止できること。【解決手段】画像形成装置10は、ノズル15から液滴を吐出可能な記録ヘッド14と、前記ノズル15のノズル面16を封止可能に昇降するキャップ部材41と、カム軸71と、前記カム軸71に設けられた第1カム73と、前記カム軸71を駆動するモータ80とを備える。前記カム軸71は、前記キャップ部材41が最下降位置Hclにあるときの、回転方向の位置を基準点P0として、前記基準点P0から第1方向CWへの第1の回転角範囲θ1と、前記第1方向CWとは反対の第2方向CCWとに、回転可能である。前記第1カム73は、前記カム軸71が前記基準点P0から前記第1の回転角範囲θ1に回転することによって、前記キャップ部材41を上昇させる。【選択図】図3 |
