BLAST FURNACE OPERATION METHOD

To provide a blast furnace operation method for charging new coke into a furnace while suppressing impact of falling, for starting up the blast furnace.SOLUTION: There is provided a blast furnace operation method configured to: lower a height of a raw material charging layer surface relative to a height of a bosh part upper end of the blast furnace and stop supply of wind; then, supply the wind again. The method is configured to: blow an oxygen-containing gas from a burner which is inserted into a tap hole after supply stop of the wind to the blast furnace; burn the coke left in the furnace, for reducing volume of the residue in the furnace; then, suspend new coke into the furnace from a top of the furnace for charging the new coke into the volume reduction region of the residue in the furnace; then, supply the wind from a tuyere of the furnace.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】落下の衝撃を抑制しながら新たなコークスを炉内に装入して、高炉をスムーズに立ち上げることができる高炉操業方法を提案する。【解決手段】原料充填層表面の高さを前記高炉の朝顔部上端の高さよりも減じて休風し、その後再度送風する高炉操業方法であって、高炉休風後に出銑口に挿入したバーナから酸素含有ガスを吹き込み、炉内に残留したコークスを燃焼させて炉内残留物の体積を減少させた後に、炉頂から新たなコークスを炉内に吊り下ろして前記炉内残留物の体積減少領域に装入し、その後、前記高炉羽口から送風を行う。【選択図】図５
