Zusammenfassung:To provide: a resin composition suitable for optical films; an optical film having excellent phase difference characteristics using the same; and a method for producing the optical film.SOLUTION: This invention relates to: a resin composition comprising, as a resin component, 70 to 97 wt.% of a cellulose ester resin represented by the general formula (1), and 3 to 30 wt.% of a fumarate-based polymer containing 80 to 95 mol% of a specific fumarate residue unit and 2 to 20% mol% of a specific cinnamate residue unit; an optical film using the resin composition; and a method for producing the optical film.
