Zusammenfassung:	To provide a seal material applicable even to an irregular cross section, capable of preventing powder or dust from entering or leaking, having excellent recyclability with a small amount of resources, and capable of providing stable sealability over a long period while avoiding overheating, abrasion, and damage.SOLUTION: A seal material has at least a cylindrical fabric, and a rigid support member that supports the cylindrical fabric. The cylindrical fabric has flexibility and rebound resilience due to its thickness. The cylindrical fabric is fixed to the support member while covering the support member arranged on a back side of a portion brought into contact with a member to be sealed so that it can be compressed by contact with the member to be sealed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】異形断面にも適用可能な、粉体や塵埃の侵入あるいは漏出を防止できるシール材で、省資源でリサイクル性にも優れ、過熱や摩耗、破損を避けて長期に安定したシール性を提供できるシール材の提供。【解決手段】筒状ファブリックと、筒状ファブリックを支持する剛性の支持部材とを少なくとも有したシール材であって、筒状ファブリックは、伸縮性とその厚みによる反発弾性とを備えており、筒状ファブリックは、被シール部材との当接によって圧縮されうるように、被シール材と当接する部位の裏面に配された支持部材を被覆しながら、支持部材に固定されていることを特徴とする、シール材。【選択図】図１
