METHOD FOR EVALUATING DEPOSIT ON SURFACE OF TOOTH

To provide a method for evaluating deposits on the surface of a tooth by which the chemical characteristics of the deposits adhered onto the surface of the tooth can be grasped, and also to provide the method for evaluating the tooth and the method for evaluating a preparation using the same.SOLUTION: In a method for evaluating deposits on the tooth surface according to the present invention, an infrared spectrum of the tooth surface measured by a specular reflection method is used as an evaluation index of the deposits adhered onto the tooth surface. In the evaluation method, it is preferable that the ratio between peak intensities or the ratio between peak areas of peaks respectively derived from the organic substance and phosphoric acid in the infrared spectrum is used as an evaluation index.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】歯の表面に付着した付着物の化学的特性を把握することができる、歯の表面における付着物の評価方法、これを用いた歯の評価方法及び製剤の評価方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明に係る歯の表面における付着物の評価方法は、正反射法により測定された歯の表面の赤外スペクトルを、歯の表面に付着した付着物の評価指標にする。前記評価方法は、前記赤外スペクトルにおける、有機物及びリン酸それぞれに由来するピークのピーク強度どうしの比率、又はピーク面積どうしの比率を前記評価指標にすることが好ましい。【選択図】図１
