WATCHING SYSTEM AND WATCHING METHOD

To provide a watching system and a watching method that securely grasp safety of an aged person etc., with simple constitution.SOLUTION: In a watching system which comprises a communication terminal that an aged person uses, a smart meter, a metering server, and a safety confirmation server, a safety confirmation server 5 comprises: a customer database 51 which stores information associated with respective customers and aged persons to be watched; a communication part 52 which communicates with respective communication terminals, the metering server, and communication equipment of a real estate company R; an access part 53 which allows access from a specific outer side to enable information in the customer database 51 to be altered and so on; an abnormality determination part 54 which detects a possibility of abnormality of the aged person M to inquire safety; a first notification part 55 which gives notice to a previously set notification destination immediately on receiving an answer of abnormality in response to safety confirmation mail; and a second notification part 56 which gives notice to the previously set notification destination when there is no answer to the safety confirmation mail until predetermined answer wait time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】高齢者等の安否を簡易な構成で、かつ、確実に把握する見守りシステム及び見守り方法を提供する。【解決手段】高齢者が使用する通信端末と、スマートメータと、計量サーバと、安否確認サーバと、を備える見守りシステムにおいて、安否確認サーバ５は、見守り対象である各需要家・高齢者に関する情報を記憶する需要家データベース５１と、各通信端末や計量サーバ、不動産会社Ｒの通信機器と通信をする通信部５２と、特定の外部からアクセスすることで、需要家データベース５１の情報の変更等をできるようにするアクセス部５３と、高齢者Ｍの異常の可能性を検知して安否を問い合わせたりする異常判定部５４と、安否確認メールに対して異常の回答を受けた場合、即座に予め設定された通知先に通知する第１の通知部５５と、安否確認メールに対して所定の回答待ち時間までに回答がなかった場合、予め設定された通知先に通知する第２の通知部５６と、を備える。【選択図】図２
