Zusammenfassung:To provide a smoke detector that can be miniaturized.SOLUTION: A smoke detector 100 comprises: a housing that is mounted to a surface to be mounted and has a smoke detection space 33 formed inside to detect smoke; a light emitting unit 6A that irradiates light into the smoke detection space 33; a light receiving section 6B that receives light emitted from the light emitting unit 6A and scattered in the smoke detection space 33; and a board 6 that is provided inside the housing and on which the light emitting unit 6A and the light receiving unit 6B are mounted. The housing comprises a main body 3 in which a wall portion forming the smoke detection space 33 is formed. A concave notch portion is formed in the board 6.
