Zusammenfassung:	To provide a water heater capable of being expected to extend a service life of a UV irradiation device.SOLUTION: A water heater according to the present disclosure comprises: a circulation device that circulates hot water in a pipe; a micro bubble generation device that can generate micro bubbles when hot water passes therethrough; a UV irradiation device that is arranged on a downstream side with respect to the micro bubble generation device in a hot water circulation direction and irradiates the hot water with UV; and a control unit that starts driving the UV irradiation device at the same time as or after the micro bubble generation device starts generating micro bubbles in conjunction with the drive of the circulation device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ＵＶ照射デバイスの長寿命化が期待できる給湯装置を提供する。【解決手段】本開示に係る給湯装置は、配管内の湯水を循環させる循環装置と、湯水が通過する際に微細気泡を発生可能な微細気泡発生装置と、湯水の循環方向において、微細気泡発生装置に対して下流側に配置され、湯水に対してＵＶを照射するＵＶ照射デバイスと、循環装置の駆動に連動して、微細気泡発生装置による微細気泡発生を開始したと同時に、または、微細気泡発生を開始した後に、ＵＶ照射デバイスの駆動を開始する制御部と、を備える。【選択図】図１
