Zusammenfassung: | To provide a projector that has achieved miniaturization and an improvement in cooling efficiency.SOLUTION: A projector of the present invention comprises: a light source that emits light; an optical modulator that modules the light emitted from the light source; a projection optical device that projects the light modulated by the optical modulator; a sealed enclosure that has a first opening and accommodates the optical modulator in a sealed state; a fan that is accommodated in the sealed enclosure, and that has a housing, an intake port to take in air inside the sealed enclosure to the housing, an exhaust port to exhaust the air from the housing, and a second opening through which air circulates; and a heat absorption unit that is arranged outside an inner face of the sealed enclosure. The first opening of the sealed enclosure is sealed by the heat absorption unit, and the heat absorption unit and the second opening of the fan are arranged to be partially overlap each other in plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
