To provide an optical laminate that has an excellent light extraction function.SOLUTION: An optical laminate according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a light extraction layer that has first and second planes, one of the first and second planes being provided with a light extraction mechanism including a recess; a first cover sheet that is laminated, via a first adhesive agent layer, on the principal surface side where the light extraction mechanism of the light extraction layer is provided; and a second cover sheet that is laminated, via a second adhesive agent layer, on the principal surface side where the light extraction mechanism of the light extraction layer is not provided.
