Zusammenfassung:	To provide a technology which can contribute to downsizing of a recording device while reducing an amount of an ink discarded in conjunction with removal of air bubbles.SOLUTION: In a supply passage for supplying an ink to a liquid chamber in which the ink is stored, an opening for discharging the ink to the liquid chamber is formed at a position which is located below the liquid chamber and at which the ink and air may be stored in the liquid chamber and the stored air does not flow from the opening into the supply passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】気泡の除去に伴って廃棄されるインク量を抑制しつつ、装置の小型化に寄与できる技術を提供する。【解決手段】インクを貯留する液室内にインクを供給する供給路において、前記液室内にインクを放出する開口部が、前記液室の下方側であって、前記液室内にインクおよび空気を貯留可能であり、かつ、貯留した空気が前記開口部から前記供給路内に流入しない位置に形成されるようにした。【選択図】図６
