To provide a work machine that can prevent more fuel than expected from being supplied to a fuel tank.SOLUTION: A work machine comprises a fuel tank having: a tank body having an internal space for storing fuel; a cylindrical fuel supply cylinder penetrating an outer wall of the tank body so that a top opening is exposed to the outside of the tank body and a bottom opening is located in the internal space of the tank body; and an opening/closing member that opens and closes the bottom opening by moving up and down with buoyancy received from the fuel stored in the internal space of the tank body. The opening/closing member includes: a floating body that moves up and down along an outer peripheral surface of the fuel supply cylinder with buoyancy received from the fuel stored in the fuel tank; a lid body that is disposed below the floating body and the bottom opening and has a larger area than that of the bottom opening; and a connecting member for connecting the lid body to the floating body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】想定以上の燃料が燃料タンクに供給されるのを防止可能な作業機械を提供する。【解決手段】作業機械は、燃料を貯留する内部空間を有するタンク本体と、上面開口がタンク本体の外部に露出し、下面開口がタンク本体の内部空間に位置するように、タンク本体の外壁を貫通した筒状の燃料供給筒と、タンク本体の内部空間に貯留された燃料から浮力を受けて上下動することによって、下面開口を開閉する開閉部材とを有する燃料タンクを備える。開閉部材は、燃料タンクに貯留される燃料から受ける浮力によって燃料供給筒の外周面に沿って上下動する浮体と、浮体及び下面開口より下方に配置され、下面開口の面積よりも大きい蓋体と、蓋体及び浮体を接続する接続部材とを有する。【選択図】図７
