Zusammenfassung:To provide a cooling device that can perform effective cooling while avoiding interference with a hollow stock when performing normal bending or shear bending, and a cooling method.SOLUTION: A cooling device is used for a hollow bent component manufacturing apparatus comprising a feeder, a heating coil, a cooling unit having a plurality of nozzle holes for injecting cooling water to a hollow stock Pm, and a shear force applying unit. In this cooling device, at least one injection center line c of each nozzle hole crosses so as to incline with respect to an outer peripheral surface of the hollow stock Pm on a cross section orthogonal to a longer direction of the hollow stock Pm at a third position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】通常曲げ加工またはせん断曲げ加工を行う際に、中空素材との干渉を避けながら効果的な冷却が行える冷却装置及び冷却方法の提供を課題とする。【解決手段】この冷却装置は、送り装置と、加熱コイルと、中空素材Pmに冷却水を噴射する複数のノズル孔を有する冷却装置と、せん断力付与装置とを備える中空屈曲部品の製造装置に用いられる。この冷却装置では、第3の位置で中空素材Pmの長手方向に直交する断面において、各ノズル孔のうちの少なくとも一つの噴射中心線cが、中空素材Pmの外周面に対して、傾斜するように交差している。【選択図】図3
