To efficiently separate gas.SOLUTION: A gas separator 10 comprises: a separation module 1 that has a separation membrane selectively permeating a specific component in mixed gas, and in which an internal space is partitioned into a first space and a second space by the separation membrane; a supply line L1 that supplies the mixed gas with a first predetermined pressure to the first space; a vacuum pump 3; and a recovery line L2 for recovering permeation gas whose pressure is reduced to a second predetermined pressure with one end connected to the second space and the other end connected to the vacuum pump 3, and which passes through the separation membrane.
