To reduce the possibility that a medium being sucked and conveyed comes in contact with an image forming part in a conveying device.SOLUTION: A conveying device 1 is arranged to face an inkjet head 110, which is an example of an image forming part that forms images on a medium M, and conveys the medium M while sucking it. Further, the conveying device 1 includes a conveyance surface S that has a sucking area that sucks the medium M.
