Zusammenfassung:To suppress the local concentration of microwaves inside a housing, and diffuse the microwaves within the housing and efficiently process the object to be processed by diffusing microwaves into the housing in a microwave reaction device that processes an object to be processed placed in the housing by irradiating the object with microwaves.SOLUTION: A casing 2 of a microwave reaction device 1 is composed of a top surface body 3, a circumferential side surface body 4, and a bottom surface body 5. The circumferential side surface body 4 has a plurality of side surface bodies arranged vertically on the bottom surface body 5 such that the side surface bodies do not face each other in parallel to form a polygonal shape in plan view, and microwaves are introduced into the housing 2 from a waveguide 7 connected to at least one side surface body 41 of the side surface bodies. A fan antenna 8 for microwave diffusion is installed on a side surface body 44 at a position not facing the side surface body 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】筐体内に配された処理対象物にマイクロ波を照射して処理するマイクロ波反応装置において、筐体内部におけるマイクロ波の局所的集中を抑制し、筐体内にマイクロ波に拡散させて処理対象物を効率的に処理する。【解決手段】マイクロ波反応装置1の筐体2を天面体3、周側面体4及び底面体5により構成する。周側面体4は複数の側面体を底面体5上に垂直に、且つ各側面体同士が平行に向き合わないように立ち並べて平面視多角形状に形成し、各側面体のうちの少なくとも一の側面体41に接続した導波管7からマイクロ波を筐体2内に導入する。側面体41と非対面の位置の側面体44にはマイクロ波拡散用のファンアンテナ8を設置する。【選択図】図1
