To shorten a time from execution of operation of printing start by an operator to taking out a medium from a table after printing end.SOLUTION: An ink jet printer includes: a color ink nozzle; a layer ink nozzle; a table to mount a medium on; a first movement mechanism for moving the table in a first direction; a second movement mechanism for relatively moving the color ink nozzle and the layer ink nozzle relative to the table in a second direction crossing the first direction; and a radiation part for emitting light to color ink and layer ink discharged to the medium in a range overlapping in the first direction.
