To provide a condenser that exercises the effect of stabilizing the cooling of water, and a chemical heat storage system.SOLUTION: A condenser 41 comprises: a condensing part 44 for condensing steam WV2; a cooling part 45 located on the lower side of the condensing part 44, and for cooling water, and a housing part 46 for housing the water cooled by the cooling part 45. The condensing part 44 and the cooling part 45 comprise a first flow passage 42 for circulating a cooling medium CM. The cooling part 45 comprising a second flow passage 45a for circulating the water W2. The second flow passage 45a is arranged so as to be adjacent to the first flow passage 42. The housing part 46 comprises a bottom wall part 46a and a peripheral wall part 46b.
