Zusammenfassung:	To provide a brake force estimation device and a brake force estimation method capable of improving accuracy of brake force of a friction brake device and controlling a friction brake and a regenerative brake for optimizing the use of the regenerative brake in a manner that optimizes a ratio of the friction brake force to the regenerative brake force and thereby improving electricity consumption.SOLUTION: A brake force estimation device is for a vehicle comprising a steering actuator steering a steering wheel.
