To provide an image formation apparatus and a program which can prevent writing processing to a storage unit that has restrictions on the writable number from being continued even when the writing processing due to a conversion abnormality is repeated when converting printing data into data in a raster format.SOLUTION: A processor of an image formation apparatus stores printing data transmitted from an external device that can execute conversion processing of converting the printing data into data in a raster format in a storage unit that has restrictions on the writable number, and issues an instruction of transmitting the data in the raster format after the conversion processing is performed on the printing data to the external device that has transmitted the printing data in which a conversion abnormality occurs in a case where the conversion abnormality occurs in the conversion processing and the number or frequency of occurrence of the conversion abnormality reaches a preset threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】印刷データをラスタ形式のデータに変換する際に変換異常による書き込み処理が繰り返された場合でも、書き込み可能回数に制限がある記憶部に対する書き込み処理が継続されてしまうことを防ぐことが可能な画像形成装置及びプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】画像形成装置のプロセッサは、印刷データをラスタ形式のデータに変換する変換処理の実行が可能な外部機器から送信された印刷データを、書き込み可能回数に制限がある記憶部に記憶し、変換処理において変換異常が発生した場合であって、変換異常が発生した回数又は頻度が予め設定された閾値に達した場合は、変換異常が発生した印刷データを送信した外部機器に対して、当該印刷データに変換処理を施した後のラスタ形式のデータを送信する指示を出す。【選択図】図２
