The refrigerant guide protrudes toward the inner circumference of a coil end and extends in the direction of the motor rotation axis to a position where it overlaps the coil end when viewed from the radial direction of the motor, so that refrigerant supplied to the refrigerant guide from the refrigerant supply mechanism can be fed through the refrigerant guide to a portion located vertically downward from the coil end. As a result, the portion located vertically downward from the coil end can be efficiently cooled by the refrigerant, thereby improving the cooling performance of a cooling device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】コイルエンドの鉛直方向で下方に位置する部位に冷媒を適切に供給して電動機の冷却性能の向上できる電動機の冷却装置を提供する。【解決手段】冷媒供給機構は、冷媒ガイドに冷媒を供給可能に構成され、冷媒ガイドは、コイルエンドの内周側に向かって突き出し、且つ、電動機の径方向から見たときにコイルエンドと重なる位置まで電動機の回転軸線方向に伸びているため、冷媒供給機構から冷媒ガイドに供給された冷媒を、冷媒ガイドを伝わせてコイルエンドの鉛直方向で下方に位置する部位に供給することができる。その結果、コイルエンドの鉛直方向で下方に位置する部位を冷媒によって効率良く冷却することができるため、冷却装置の冷却性能が向上する。【選択図】図1 |
