PACKAGING CONTAINER

To provide: a packaging container having a simple engagement structure, which substitutes for a conventional plastic inner bag, for a parallelepiped packaging container for storing a tapered axis-shaped article to be packed; and a plate material therefor.SOLUTION: Packaging containers (B1, B2) each comprise a parallelepiped trunk part (1) made from four side face plates, and a lid part (4) for closing an opening (2) of the trunk part. The trunk part (1) comprises a presser plate coming into contact with an article to be packed inside in such a manner that the article to be packed is not loosened in a gap with the trunk part in between.
